Get started with Fleet Management
Grafana Fleet Management is a Grafana Cloud tool for managing collector instances at scale. You can use it to streamline the configuration and monitoring of your collectors, saving you time and effort.
Fleet Management supports Grafana Alloy collectors and OpenTelemetry Collector deployments that use OpAMP. Choose the getting started guide that matches the collector type you want to manage.
Choose a collector
Use one of the following guides to install or run a collector and register it with Fleet Management.
- Get started with Fleet Management and Grafana Alloy: Install a new Alloy instance with Fleet Management enabled.
- Get started with Fleet Management and OpenTelemetry Collector: Run OpenTelemetry Collector with the OpAMP Supervisor and register it with Fleet Management.
If you’d like to try Fleet Management with existing collectors, refer to Collector onboarding.
Next steps
Each guide helps you register a collector with Fleet Management and find it in the Inventory. After the collector is registered, you can monitor its health, inspect its internal telemetry, and assign configuration pipelines to configure it remotely.
For more information about how Fleet Management works, refer to Fleet Management architecture.
