Allow actions from Pages

Grafana Pages can run actions using your accounts and connections, such as sending Slack messages or making HTTP requests through an Infinity datasource. Grafana shows the destination and values for you to review before the action runs.

Allow future actions

Select Always allow for this page in an action’s review dialog, then approve the action. This allows all supported actions from that Page without asking again, including HTTP requests that can change external systems. The permission applies to your account and this Page in this browser. Other Pages and viewers need their own approval. Draft and published Pages have separate permissions.

The Page must stay open to run actions. Approved actions can run when you switch browser tabs, but browsers can throttle background timers and Page datasource queries pause in hidden tabs. Connection setup, access permissions, and datasource policies still apply to every request.

Revoke permission

Click Revoke permission beside the Page to require review again. This takes effect for future actions in this browser; it can’t undo an action already sent. Clearing your browser’s saved data also removes the permission.
