# Onboard your collectors to Fleet Management

Learn how to onboard your existing collectors to Grafana Fleet Management so you can proactively manage your fleet and monitor your observability setup.

If you don’t have existing collectors ready for onboarding, you can install new instances with the help of Grafana Cloud:

- To start a new fleet, navigate to **Connections** > **Collector Setup** > **Install** to register your first collector.
- If you’ve already registered collectors, you can expand your fleet by clicking **Add collector** on the **Inventory** tab in the Fleet Management interface.
