Session Replay is currently in public preview. Grafana Labs offers limited support, and breaking changes might occur prior to the feature being made generally available.

Before enabling Session Replay, review Data privacy in Session Replay. By instrumenting Session Replay, you assume responsibility for disclosing session recording to your end users and obtaining any consent required by applicable law, such as GDPR, ePrivacy, and CCPA. Grafana Labs doesn’t display a consent banner on your behalf.

Session Replay is an add-on feature for Grafana Cloud Frontend Observability that records user and browser interactions and reconstructs user session activity alongside your existing telemetry.

With Session Replay you can:

  • Watch user sessions in Grafana Cloud Frontend Observability to help investigate and debug frontend issues.
  • Understand user journeys and where users might be getting stuck or having a poor experience.
  • Control exactly what each recording captures, with masking and privacy options that keep sensitive and personal data out of replays.
