# Services catalog

The services catalog is the main landing page for Application Observability. It displays all discovered application services with performance metrics and instrumentation quality information.

To access the services catalog, navigate to **Observability > Application** in the Grafana menu.

The catalog provides two views:

- [**Performance**](/docs/grafana-cloud/observe-and-act/monitor-applications/application-observability-kg/services/performance/): RED metrics (latency, error ratio, request rate) and insight indicators for each service.
- [**Instrumentation quality**](/docs/grafana-cloud/observe-and-act/monitor-applications/application-observability-kg/services/instrumentation-quality/): quality scores and failing checks for each service.

## Filter services

Use the top filter bar to narrow the services list by:

- **Env**: deployment environment
- **Region**: geographic region
- **K8s namespace**: Kubernetes namespace

Use the toggle in the top right to show **Instrumented**, **Uninstrumented**, or **All** services.

The left panel provides additional filter facets:

- **Insight Rings**: filter by insight type (Saturation, Amend, Anomaly, Failure, Error)
- **Insight Names**, **Connection Type**, **Deployment Environment**, **Job**, **Namespace**, **OTEL Namespace**, **OTEL Service**, **Product**, **Service**, **Service Type**, **Service Version**, **Source**, **Telemetry SDK Language**

## Navigate from the catalog

From the services catalog, you can:

- Click a service name to open its [service detail page](/docs/grafana-cloud/observe-and-act/monitor-applications/application-observability-kg/service-detail/).
- Click **Entity Graph** in the top bar to view the [Entity Graph](/docs/grafana-cloud/knowledge-graph/troubleshoot-infra-apps/explore-entity-graph/).
- Click **RCA Workbench** in the top bar to open [RCA workbench](/docs/grafana-cloud/knowledge-graph/troubleshoot-infra-apps/workbench/).
