# Configure Application Observability

Application Observability configuration is managed through the knowledge graph configuration page at **Observability > Configuration**.

After building the knowledge graph, the following configuration tabs are available:

## Access configuration

1. Navigate to **Observability > Configuration** in the Grafana menu.
2. Select the tab for the setting you want to modify.

## Configuration documentation

For detailed documentation on each configuration option, refer to the knowledge graph configuration docs:

- [Connect knowledge graph](/docs/grafana-cloud/knowledge-graph/get-started/manage-datasets/)
- [Configure the knowledge graph](/docs/grafana-cloud/knowledge-graph/configure/)

## Next steps

- Review your [services catalog](/docs/grafana-cloud/observe-and-act/monitor-applications/application-observability-kg/services/) to verify that configuration changes take effect.
- Check [instrumentation quality](/docs/grafana-cloud/observe-and-act/monitor-applications/application-observability-kg/services/instrumentation-quality/) to identify services that may need configuration adjustments.
