## Overview

> Note
>
> Session Replay is currently in [private preview](/docs/release-life-cycle/). Grafana Labs offers support on a best-effort basis, and breaking changes might occur prior to the feature being made generally available.

Session Replay gives engineers and support teams an accurate playback of each user’s frontend experience, enabling faster issue investigation with more context and less guesswork.

Session Replay is an add-on feature for Grafana Cloud Frontend Observability that records user and browser interactions and reconstructs user session activity alongside your existing telemetry.

With Session Replay you can:

- Watch user sessions in Grafana Cloud Frontend Observability to help investigate and debug frontend issues.
- Understand user journeys and where users might be getting stuck or having a poor experience.
- Control exactly what each recording captures, with masking and privacy options that keep sensitive and personal data out of replays.
