Link from RED metrics and duration distribution
In Application Observability, you can view RED metrics and duration distribution data on the service overview page. On this page, you can click on a specific data point and navigate to the traces or logs associated with that data point.
Link to traces from RED metrics
You can select a data point on the Rate, Errors, or Duration panels and click the link to navigate to traces for that data point. On the Traces tab, the data includes traces from 4 minutes before and 4 minutes after the selected data point so that you gain a useful understanding of the traces behind those graphs.
If you link to traces from the Errors panel, the system sets the Status filter for error traces.

Link to logs from RED metrics
You can select a data point on the Rate, Errors, or Duration panels and click the link to navigate to logs for that data point. On the Logs tab, the data includes logs from 1 minute before and 1 minute after the selected data point so that you can view the proper logs associated with those graphs.
Link to traces from duration distribution
You can select a data point on the duration distribution histogram and click the link to navigate to traces for that data point. On the Traces tab, the data includes traces from 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after the selected data point so that you can view the proper traces associated with the request duration.
