# Get onboarding support

Use Grafana Assistant to learn how to use Grafana Cloud features, understand observability concepts, and design monitoring strategies for your services.

## Interactive onboarding

When you first open the Assistant, an interactive tutorial introduces key capabilities:

1. **System context:** Learn how to use `@` mentions to reference your specific metrics, logs, and dashboards.
2. **Query generation:** See how to convert natural language questions into PromQL, LogQL, and SQL queries.
3. **Dashboard management:** Understand how to create and edit visualizations through conversation.

You can also use **Quickstarts**—pre-configured questions available in the chat interface—to discover features and capabilities relevant to your current context.

Ask the Assistant for actionable instructions when you are stuck or want to learn a new feature.

1. **Describe the task.** Explain what you want to do in natural language.
2. **Add context.** Use `@` mentions to point to specific dashboards or panels.
