Grafana Assistant brings a purpose-built LLM to Grafana so operators, developers, and SREs can troubleshoot issues, manage dashboards, and answer product questions in minutes. You can run it directly in Grafana Cloud or from a self-hosted Grafana deployment that connects to a Grafana Cloud Assistant backend. Strong privacy and security controls ensure conversations respect RBAC, route through vetted service providers, and rely on your telemetry to produce action-ready results.

Whether you’re analyzing data, polishing dashboards for executives, or guiding teammates to navigation and knowledge resources, Assistant removes manual querying and helps teams move faster. Some advanced features, including investigations and Grafana Cloud MCP connections, are available only with the full Cloud feature set.
