Check metrics

The Synthetic Monitoring checks generate metrics that you can use to build custom dashboards or alerts.

You can use Grafana Explore to play around with these metrics.

Pre-built dashboards

Synthetic Monitoring automatically creates a dashboard for every check you create.

Dashboard template updates are released with the Synthetic Monitoring plugin and can be applied in the Synthetic Monitoring plugin Config section.

NOTE: If you have made any changes to the pre-built dashboards that come with every check, your changes will be overwritten when the app is updated. If you would like to make changes to these pre-built dashboards, make a copy of the dashboard and make your changes to the copy.
