Note

The following steps are required if you want to access FOCUS data through the API. This is often useful when ingesting the data into another system. You can also access FOCUS data through the Cost Management and Billing Application.

Configure access for FOCUS API

Use Cloud Access Policies to manage permissions for the FOCUS API endpoint.

Create a cloud access policy and token

You can grant permissions in the Grafana Cloud UI or using the HTTP API. To access the FOCUS API you must grant the org-billing-focus:read permission.
