# Configure Grafana Alloy

You can configure Alloy after it’s [installed](../set-up/install/). The default configuration file location for Alloy is:

- Linux: `/etc/alloy/config.alloy`
- macOS: `$(brew --prefix)/etc/alloy/config.alloy`
- Windows: `%ProgramFiles%\GrafanaLabs\Alloy\config.alloy`
