13 Nov, 2023 3 min

ObservabilityCON 2023 is right around the corner! That means it’s officially time to start preparing for our premier open source observability event, taking place 14-15 November in London.

It all kicks off with the opening keynote on 14 November at 13:30 GMT. If you’re not joining us in person, be sure to sign up for the keynote livestream to hear some exciting updates from Grafana Labs CEO/Co-founder Raj Dutt, CTO Tom Wilkie, and members of our engineering team. (For a sneak peek at what’s to come in the opening remarks, check out Tom’s video below).

ObservabilityCON 2023: What to expect

Here’s some other helpful information to know, heading into the event.

The ObservabilityCON 2023 agenda includes two full days of content related to the latest and greatest trends in open source observability.

Following the keynote, attendees will have a chance to hear about recent developments to the Grafana LGTM (Loki-Grafana-Tempo-Mimir) Stack, as well as learn from observability experts at companies including ComplyAdvantage, Actian, Maersk, Just Eat Takeaway.com, and Sky. Breakout session topics include:

  • Why and how to unify application and infrastructure observability
  • Best practices for building observability at scale
  • How to use Grafana SLO and Grafana IRM to prioritize business-critical performance issues
  • How to manage rising metrics and logging costs with Grafana Cloud
  • How to practice user-centered observability with load testing, synthetic monitoring, and real user monitoring
  • How AI and machine learning are reshaping the open source observability space

There will also be plenty of networking opportunities and time to connect with Grafana Labs’ technical experts at our demo stations and the Ask the Experts booth.

How to engage with us online: You can join the #observabilitycon channel in the Grafana Labs Community Slack to mingle with fellow attendees. And be sure to follow Grafana Labs on X (formerly known as Twitter) and LinkedIn for all the latest announcements from the event. You can share your photos with us using the #ObservabilityCON hashtag!
