When GrafanaCONline 2022 launches on June 13, we will have more than 30+ live online talks featuring Grafana Labs pros, leaders in observability, and … how about you

No Grafana Labs event would be complete without the stories from our global community. If you’re doing something special with any of Grafana Labs’ open source tools, Grafana Cloud, or Grafana Enterprise, we encourage you to fill out the CFP application for the chance to secure a 30-minute talk in the GrafanaCONline 2022 lineup.

All stories welcome

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive lineup for GrafanaCONline 2022, and we encourage submissions from first-time speakers. But what makes for a standout application? We’re looking for stories about how you solved a professional, technical, or personal problem, and our most successful talks offer a deep dive into how the solution works and produces promising (and, in some cases, profitable) results. Demos, architectural diagrams, and, of course, examples of your Grafana dashboards are not only welcome, but encouraged.

For inspiration, our full lineup of GrafanaCONline 2021 sessions are available to watch on demand.

We are looking for talks in the following categories:

Personal stories

We’ve seen Grafana deployed in home labs to monitor a sourdough starter and to help care for elderly loved ones. Last year, Nayana Shetty, a Principal Engineer at the Financial Times, delivered a presentation on how she used Grafana, Graphite, and a few simple IoT devices to capture and visualize metrics on her WFH habits to avoid burnout during the pandemic. We want to share how your personal project has improved, innovated, or provided key insights into the way you — and others — live.

Academic

Students, professors, and scholars have long deployed Grafana to enhance their research and further their studies in a wide array of subjects. We want to hear more about your A+ projects in academia. For example, Jodie Barnsley, a computer science and math graduate from Leeds Beckett University in the U.K., presented “Predicting air quality (and pollution) with Grafana” at GrafanaCONline 2021. Based on her master’s dissertation, Barnsley designed a system to take raw, real-time air-quality data from sensors in the U.K. and, with the help of Grafana and Influx, produce fairly accurate predictions for the coming week’s air quality index. The goal? To help protect vulnerable populations affected by air pollution.

Business

Roblox, Dapper Labs, Salesforce have also been featured in the GrafanaCONline agenda.

Or perhaps your instance is in a category all its own. We welcome the quirky, fun, and one-of-a-kind use cases of Grafana as well. No matter the topic, we want GrafanCONline 2022 to be an opportunity for the community to share, learn, and be inspired by one another.

The application for GrafanaCONline 2022 presenters is open until Friday, April 1.
