What do you do at Grafana Labs?
I’m a Senior Enterprise Account Executive; it’s a snazzy description for someone who helps people get the resources they need in order to implement a solution within their organization. You can check out a blog I wrote about what I do. I’m most energized when I hear success stories from customers like 84.51, whom I’ve given a helping hand in solving challenges that roll all the way up to the exec level. It was really humbling to receive Grafana Labs’ 2019 Maximum Impact award for my work with so many enterprises this past year.
How did you end up at Grafana Labs?
I’m what they call an O.G. a.k.a. “Original Grafanista.” I joined over 2.5 years ago, but first met the team back in the summer of 2016 at Grafana’s very first Metrics and Monitoring Meetup. The main talk that evening was “Alerting at Soundcloud,” and featured Tobias Schmidt talking about a new OSS project gaining popularity called Prometheus. Little did I know that night, in a room of a dozen people, that I’d get to see the massive growth of Grafana and Prometheus first hand. It’s been a wild ride!

What do you like to do in your free time?
A few months back I started boxing at a no thrills old-school NYC boxing joint with world champion boxers Alicia “The Empress” Napoleon and Harrison “BULLITT” Barba. The trainers and classes taught me an immense amount about staying true to yourself, dedication, and focus. I’d leave the basement gym drenched in sweat feeling empowered and ready to conquer the day!
What’s the best part of your job?
Hands down; my team. They are kind, smart, driven, and always have my back.
What’s the last thing you binge-watched?
Homeland Season 1. Currently channeling the best-parts of Carrie. ;)
What superpowers do you wish you had (or do you have!)?
I believe tuning in to your intuition can have some real super-power benefits. :muscle:
What’s the last thing you’ve gotten off your bucket list?
I took a trip to the Amalfi Coast this past October. It felt like living in a warm fuzzy dream – you can say I had some real pinch-me moments. Here’s a photo from the Path of the Gods:
