With a background in software-defined storage, Jan entered the world of monitoring and observability through his involvement with the Ceph community. This experience laid the foundation for his successful transition into the Prometheus community in 2021. Since then, Jan has had the pleasure of working closely with this lovely community and was able to contribute to Prometheus 3 as part of the release shepherd team.
