Enoc Martínez
Assistant Professor at Electronic Engineering Department of UPC
Enoc Martínez received the B.S. degree in telecommunications engineering and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electronic engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), in 2012, 2015, and 2021, respectively. Since 2015, he has been with the Remote Acquisition and Data Processing Systems (SARTI) Research Group, and since 2025, he has been an Assistant Professor at the Electronic Engineering Department of UPC. Since 2019, he has been collaborating with European Multidisciplinary Seafloor and Water-Column Observatory European Research Infrastructure (EMSO ERIC), a pan-European research infrastructure devoted to long-term monitoring of European waters. Since 2023, he has been the Lead of the EMSO’s Data Management Service Group (DMSG). His research interests include marine acquisition systems, interoperability, underwater acoustics, underwater image analysis, FAIR data management, and marine data infrastructures.
